Base Enthusiasm Index

We all know the quickvote online polls are not scientifically accurate. We also know that Kerry supporters have killed Bush supporters in freeping the polls. (TalkLeft has the results.)

Why are the hippy dippy liberal slacker stoners staying up late to work in a systemized fashion to freep these polls while the hateful christian wingnuts just turn off their tvs and computers and go to bed? Could it be because Mr. Kerry's base is highly motivated and very enthusiastic, while Mr. Bush (DODO*)'s base suffers from a malaise of discontentment and defeatism? If this is true, does it suggest that at leas the wired portion of Mr. Kerry's base will turn out to vote in very high numbers? Perhaps it is a druggie thing. Perhaps the quickvote polls are like methadone, which the hippy dippy liberal slacker stoners are using until they can get the real thing on November 2nd.

If Mr. Kerry's supporters continue to be successful in freeping the polls, Pudentilla predicts the SCLM will switch to questions like, "which candidate had a better tailor."
