We Will Win

Mr. Gilliard made a particularly astute observation this morning:

Besides, every roadmarker we have used has failed us. The elections, the consitution, all of it has seen an increase of effective guerrilla activity, not a decrease.

Have you ever seen a paranoid schizophrenic in the throes of his/her disease? Ever time il Ducetto's handlers send him out to talk to angry old white men (the only demographic that seems content to follow him off a cliff) with their warmed over Churchill rhetoric (which is remarkably unpersuasive, perhaps because the parallel to WWII is utterly unconvincing - we are in an unconventional war of choice in which we are the aggressor), don't you think of God's children on city streets telling you how the C.I.A.'s put computer chips in their brains.

But they're Republicans, so the only people paying for their failure are the war dead and injured - and God knows no one in the RNC is related to any of those poor benighted casualties or their families.
