Syria or Iran?

Well it looks like they're going to start dropping bombs somewhere. Why? Because the LRWM* is making noises about making nice to queer soldiers. When is the U.S. military nice to queer soldiers? When it doesn't have enough straight soldiers. So in light of the impending expansion of Il Ducetto's little venture, everyone wants to make nice to queer soldiers.

The Economist has called on the American Military to feel the love. The L.A. Times notes that the GAO is reporting that "Don't Ask/Don't Tell" is costing the military a boatload of dough. Of course the Talon News Agency's Ace Reporter has been on this bandwagon for awhile.

As much as we suspect that this is a part of the traditional "be nice to queer soldiers while there's shooting and screw 'em when it's done," we suspect even more that this means more dead and wounded soldiers, tortured and "disappeared" prisoners, and civilian casualties from Mr. Bush's wars.
